Missed delivery? Call the cops!

There are times that when a contracted supplier fails to deliver, you’d like to be able to call someone and complain — like the police.
That’s the situation that unfolded one day earlier this month at a Florida McDonald’s.
A customer came in and placed an order for chicken nuggets and paid for them. The restaurant told her her they were out of the nuggets.
The customer took it poorly: She called 911 and complained. The dispatcher listened and told her she was sending someone.
She called again. The dispatcher told her an officer had been alerted and was en route.
But when the police arrived, it wasn’t to help the complaining customer. They cited her for misuse of 911.
A statement for McDonald’s said the customer should’ve received a refund to begin with, and they’d sent her a certificate good for a free meal.

Both the customer and McDonalds acted poorly. The customer should have called McDonalds corporate office to begin with. Also, it shouldn’t have even gone that far. The manager of McDonalds should have given the customer a refund immediately. I actually remembered seeing this on a national news broadcast last week. Now I am quite sure that this woman is an absolute laughing stock in her neighborhood, and in the state of Florida! Plus, I definetely agree fining the woman for the misuse of 911. Please do not call 911 for a silly incident such as this!!! What really got me, is that she called the 911 center about 2 or 3 times over something that costs less than 5 bucks!!!! I would understand it if she paid for a caviar appetizer and a filet mignon entree on a bed of couscous!
